teaching group classes

  • I can give classes for Tango (which I call “physiotango”) in the following:

    • Foot and Ankle exercises to prevent pain and injury

    • Balance training for better dance control

    • Awareness and connectivity in dance

    • The core- strengthening and stretching for ease of stability and mobility (dissociation)

    In 2019, I taught a group class “Foot and Ankle Biomechanics and Exercises,” at The Albuquerque Tango Festival and had over 200 people attend!

  • I can teach a variety of cross-training classes for ballet students.

    • Cross training for beautiful feet and stable ankles

    • Core cross training for a strong foundation.

    • Balance exercises- varied cross training and adaptations for improved stability in a variety of settings.

    These classes may also be applicable to other dance forms.

  • Yes. I can offer general cross-training classes for improving balance, strength, and foundations.

    Those interested to hire me for a group class may contact me about the needs of their dancer population.

  • I would be open to traveling out of state to teach group classes, however I may not see people for a Physical Therapy appointment outside of New Mexico.
